Y谋ld谋z Technical University (YT), YT Y谋ld谋z Technopark, and the Arnavutk枚y Municipality have signed a protocol to establish a new technology campus in Arnavutk枚y, one of Istanbul鈥檚 major production and logistics hubs.

With the new regulation published in the Official Gazette and now in effect, public sector employees can now have their children鈥攚ho attend preschool, compulsory education, daycare centers, and children鈥檚 clubs鈥攖ransported via staff shuttle services. The regulation, implemented as part of the 鈥淵ear of the Family,鈥 is seen as a significant convenience for working parents.

The soccer tournament, to be held at Y谋ld谋z Technical University鈥檚 Davutpa艧a Campus, will run for nine weeks. Cosmos T1, a domestically developed artificial intelligence model with 9 billion parameters created by a team at Y谋ld谋z Technical University, has been launched. The model, which achieved a 77.41% success rate in the challenging GSM8K Turkish test, drew attention by outperforming Meta鈥檚 Llama-3.1-70B and Google鈥檚 Gemma-2-9B systems.
Y谋ld谋z Technical University climbed 25 spots in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) 2026 Sustainability Rankings to rank 406th globally. With this result, YT solidified its position as the 5th-ranked university in Turkey.
