As part of a project carried out by Our University's Sultan Abdlhamid II Application and Research Center under the courtesy of the presidency of the Republic of Turkey, the books "British-Ottoman Relations through the Y谋ld谋z Palace Photography Collection" and 鈥淎merican-Ottoman Relations Through The Y谋ld谋z Palace Photography Collection鈥� are introduced by the Culture and Tourism Ministry at the London Book Fair between 10th-12th Apr 2018. The fair is opened by The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to London.

Department of Avionics has been opened at Faculty of Applied Scences.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Bahri 艦AH陌N visited Suat Hayri AKA, Undersecretary of Ministry of Transport Maritime Affairs and Communication and Salim 脰ZPAK, the General Directorate of Shipyards and Coastal Structures to hold in exchange of views on R&D projects.

Hosted by Our Faculty of Architecture, Italian Cultural Affairs Office, The Consul General of Italy, Italian Trade Promotion Agency and IED-Istituto Europeo del Design contributed to organization of 鈥業talian Design Day in the World鈥� at our university. Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. G枚ksel A臑ARGN, Dean of Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Glay ZORER GED陌K, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sezgin BAKIRDERE and National Defense University, Dean of Naval Academy, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dursun ALKAN attended the event.
