The renowned piano virtuoso, musicologist, and composer Vedat Kosal is being commemorated on the 25th anniversary of his passing with a concert organized by the Vedat Kosal Music Application and Research Center at Y谋ld谋z Technical University.
This year鈥檚 concert, featuring young pianist Utku Asan, will take place at the Sound Recording Studio of the Faculty of Art and Design at YT鈥檚 Davutpa艧a Campus. The program aims to present a wide-ranging repertoire spanning from the Classical Period to the 20th century.

The fourth meeting of the Union of Technical Universities, which brings together Turkey鈥檚 12 leading technical universities, was hosted by Erzurum Technical University. Dr. Murat Ergenekon Sel莽uk, YT鈥檚 Disaster and Emergency Aid Coordinator, contributed to the event by sharing academic expertise and participating in on-site practical exercises, thereby fostering regional cooperation.
Applications for the second round of 2026 for the AKAP, DOSAP, and GEP programs administered by the Higher Education Council (Y脰K) opened on June 18, 2026. Under these programs, which aim to enable academics and researchers to conduct scientific research at leading universities around the world, 400 researchers from Turkey will receive support for overseas research. The application deadline is June 5, 2026.
During the 48-hour technology marathon organized by 糖心视频 Startup House with Trksat as the main partner, innovative projects focused on artificial intelligence and digital transformation competed. Following the challenging process, the three winning startups received their awards at a ceremony.
